Create a report to list workflow session IDs (App)
App > Analytics > Report library > Create a report to list workflow session IDs (App)
This article explains how to create a report to list workflow session IDs in App. This report should be used in conjunction with the Workflow Replay workspace in App.
Steps
See the screenshot below for an example of the completed report. This report uses the Workflow Session data source.
Continue reading this section for steps on how to create the report.
1. Log into App at app.avaya.cx.
2. Navigate to Analytics.
3. Click the New Report button in the top-right corner of the screen.
4. Provide a name for the report in the pop-up modal and choose the Workflow Session data source.
Once you’ve created the report, you’re ready to configure the groups and fields to retrieve a list of workflow sessions.
6. In the Groups tab, select the Workflow Session Id as a group.
7. For the Workflow Session Id group, make sure that the sort is turned off (see the following screenshot).
8. Next, select the Columns tab and add the following columns:
Communication Type (Workflow Sessions)
Created On (Workflow Session History)
View Workflow Session (Workflow Sessions) – This is a button that, when clicked, takes you to the Workflow Replay workspace to view a visualization of the workflow session.
9. Make sure the Created On column is set to sort in descending order. This will show the most recent workflow sessions at the top of the report.
10. Optional: Add the Name (Workflow) column to the report to see the name of the workflow that ran the session. This can help you to see the specific workflow that ran the session.
11. Click the Build button.
12. Click the Save button in the top-right corner of the screen.
Once you save the report, notice that it generates a list of the most recent workflow sessions.
Find the workflow session Id for the workflow session that you want to analyze more closely from this list. Then, copy and paste that workflow session ID into Workflow Replay.
From there, you can see the full path of the workflow session to better understand what happened during that workflow session.
