Join a Sync as a user (App)

This article explains how to start or join a Sync while using App.

Sync via Chat

Follow the steps below to start or join a Sync through the Chat workspace.

1. Log into App at app.avaya.cx.

2. Select Chat.

3. Open the Channel or Direct Message where you want to start or join a Sync.

4. Click the Sync button (camera icon) or hover over the Sync button and click Join from the modal.

• This opens the pre-join menu, where you test to make sure your audio settings are correctly configured, and adjust microphone and camera settings.

5. Click Join Meeting.

Sync via link

Follow these steps when you receive a link from another Avaya.cx user to join a Sync.

1. Click the link to open the Sync.

2. Click Join Meeting.

• This opens the pre-join menu, where you test to make sure your audio settings are correctly configured, and adjust the microphone and camera settings.
