Call a coworker from the softphone directory (App)

This article explains how to call a coworker from the softphone directory in App.

In this article

Call coworker's mobile via the softphone

1. Log into App at app.avaya.cx.

2. Click the softphone icon to open the workspace.

3. Click the Address Book button to reveal a list of contacts in a directory-style format.

4. Search or scroll to the user you want to call.

5. Click the mobile icon in the contact options panel.

6. Notice the call is created in your softphone.

7. Proceed with the call as usual.

Call coworker's extension via the softphone

1. Log into App at app.avaya.cx.

2. Click the softphone icon to open the workspace.

3. Click the Address Book button to open the directory workspace.

4. Search or scroll to the user you want to call.

5. Click the extension icon in the contact options panel.

6. Notice the call is created.

7. Proceed with the call as usual.

Call coworker's voicemail via the softphone

1. Log into App at app.avaya.cx.

2. Click the softphone icon to open the workspace.

3. Click the directory button to open the directory workspace.

4. Search or scroll to the user you want to call.

5. Click the voicemail icon in the contact options panel.

6. Notice the call is created.

7. Proceed with the call as usual.
