Enable or disable a user's Contacts access in Users (Console)
This article explains how to enable or disable a user's access to the Contacts product in App, which is a user permissions setting in Users in Console.
Overview
Contacts is a workspace in App that is permission based. So, you’ll need to enable the Contacts toggle under user permissions before a user will be able to start working in this workspace. Or you’ll need to disable this toggle if you want to remove a user’s access to this workspace.
NOTE: A user with access to Contacts will have full access. So, they can add, remove, or modify both individual and company contacts.
Follow this guide when you want to grant or remove a user’s access to the Contacts product in App.
Steps
Log into Console at console.avaya.cx.
2. Navigate to Account > Users.
3. Select the user you want to enable or disable the access to Contacts for.
4. Navigate to the Users permissions container.
5. Click the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the container.
6. Navigate to the Contacts toggle under the Application column.
7. Use the Contacts toggle to grant or deny the user access to this workspace in App.
Enabled - The user has full access to the Contacts workspace in App. This means that they’ll be able to create, delete, and modify all company and individual contacts.
Disabled - The user doesn’t have access to the Contacts workspace in App.
8. Click Save.
