What is a trigger?

A trigger is an action that takes place on an object when a condition occurs. In other words, when an object is created, modified, or deleted, a trigger can execute a workflow to automatically do something.

An example of a trigger on an object.

When you click on an existing trigger (or when you click the New Trigger button in the top-right corner of the screen), a panel flies out from the right of the screen. This is where you can create or modify a trigger.

Steps

1. Log into Console at console.avaya.cx.

2. Navigate to Objects.

3. Select the object containing the trigger you want to remove

4. Click the Triggers tab.

5. Select the trigger you’d like to remove

6. Click the Delete button to remove the trigger.

7. Click Yes to confirm deletion of the trigger.
