Modify a field of an object (Console)
This article explains how to modify a field of an object in Console.
Limitations on modifying a field
Note that it’s not possible to modify the data type of a field. It’s only possible to modify the following properties of a field:
Label
Default Value toggle
Required
Read Only

Steps
1. Log into Console at console.avaya.cx.
2. Navigate to Objects.
3. Select the object containing the field you want to modify.
4. Click the Fields tab.
5. Select the field you want to modify by double-clicking it.
6. Click the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the field setting container to modify the field.
7. Select the field setting you want to modify. Keep in mind that you can only change the following fields:
Label
Default Value toggle
Required
Read Only
8. Click Save to save your changes or click the x button in the top-right corner to cancel.
